Alert: Severe Flooding in Panama City on September 17
A prelminary meteorological analysis of the Panama City floods of September 17-18 has been performed using GOES-12 IR Ch4 imagery and TRMM radar-based rainfall estimates. Click here for details.
 
Alert: Algae Bloom off the Coast of El Salvador
On June 5, 2004 an algae bloom was detected off the coast of El Salvador. Quasi-true and pseudo-color chlorophyll images from SeaWiFS data collected on June 5, 2004 were generated. Click here to view images.
 
Keeping an Eye on Central America from Science@NASA
