    What's New in SERVIR-VIZ 2.1
    • WMS Identify tool added We are now using World Wind Version 1.4 source code

    • WMS Layers can now be ordered
    • Distance measuring tool can measure several segments and provide total distance

    • Auto-update feature has been enhanced to make it more efficient

    • GEOSS Image overlay has been updated to provide better results when view is tilted

    • New connectors have been added, older ones have been eliminated. Amongst the changes are: KML Importer, video recorder has been deleted, atmospheric halo replaced by sky gradient, new data from NRL

    • Country limits are now a WMS Service

    • Country names are now a WFS Service

    • Almost real time cloud coverage of the world (every 3 hours)

    • Widgets are supported on the interfase

    • New scale ba

    What's New in SERVIR-VIZ 2.0
    • New Spanish/English interface with a mouse click!.
    • Layer manager content updated on-the-fly, no need for installing/uninstalling to get new content
    • New WMS functionality to improve overall usability
    • Ability to install independently from NASA World Wind, now both applications can run from the same computer at the same time
    • New online help available for users explaining the specific SERVIR-VIZ functionalities (currently available only in English but soon in Spanish too)
    • More scientific content applied to the Mesoamerican region in the GEOSS decision support section
    • New compass functionality that shows the realtime heading
    • New available inset map or overview map of the region
    • Three-dimensional starfield
    • Ability to make measurements dynamically
    • Ability to find geographic positions using decimal degrees or degrees, minutes and seconds format
    • Many more exciting extras!
